About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven
Riyadh Business Manager to lead our commercial growth and operational execution in Saudi Arabia. This role is the driving force behind our success in the region, requiring a leader who can balance high-level business development with hands-on operational management.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end client lifecycle and local logistics—from acquiring high-value sellers and driving buyer revenue to overseeing product on boarding and managing shipments. If you are a versatile leader passionate about the luxury market, possessing a strong commercial mindset, and capable of running a seamless local operation to deliver a world-class Net Promoter Score (NPS), this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Seller Growth & Supply Acquisition
- Increase High-Demand Supply: Formulate and execute strategies to acquire high-value, highly desirable luxury items from sellers within Saudi Arabia.
- Seller Retention & VIP Management: Build out retention programs to keep top-tier sellers engaged, ensuring they consistently choose our platform for their luxury resale needs.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the regional marketing team to design, launch, and optimize targeted campaigns aimed at new seller acquisition.
- Conversion Optimization: Oversee the seller journey, identifying bottlenecks and training the sales team to improve conversion rates from initial inquiry to successful listing.
Buyer Engagement & Sales Leadership
- Drive Buyer Revenue: Manage the Riyadh sales team to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets, focusing on high-ticket conversions and repeat purchases.
- Cross-Pollination: Develop initiatives to convert our top buyers into sellers, and our top sellers into buyers, maximizing the lifetime value of every Saudi client.
- Clienteling Excellence: Ensure the sales team is executing proactive, personalized outreach to VIP buyers to maintain top-of-mind brand awareness.
Local Operations & Logistics Management
- Product On boarding & Processing: Oversee the local item on boarding workflows. Ensure that high-value supply is processed, verified, and prepped for listing with maximum efficiency and minimal turnaround time.
- Order & Shipment Fulfilment: Manage end-to-end local logistics, including coordinating inbound shipments from sellers and outbound deliveries to buyers.
- Operational SLA & Quality Control: Monitor operational KPIs to ensure strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing delays, shipping errors, and friction in the physical product journey.
Team Management & Client Experience
- Lead and Coach: Manage, mentor, and scale the local Business Development, Sales, and Operations teams. Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a high-performance culture.
- NPS Champion: Own the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for the KSA region. Monitor client feedback deeply across both sales interactions and operational fulfilment, implementing changes to ensure a flawless luxury experience.
- Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears on the ground. Report on local market trends, operational challenges, competitor activities, and shifting consumer behaviours to global leadership.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business Management, Business Development, or Operations, preferably within the luxury goods, e-commerce, or premium retail sectors.
- Dual Skillset: Proven ability to manage both commercial sales / clienteling targets and physical operations/logistics workflows.
- Local Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian consumer and cultural nuances, with an existing network of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) being a strong plus.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing, coaching, and scaling cross-functional teams to hit ambitious targets.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data (conversion rates, NPS, logistics SLAs, acquisition costs) to drive strategic decisions.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
