Job Description

Role Purpose:

The SRM/ RM – Corporate & SME is responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing a high-quality portfolio of corporate and SME clients in line with the bank's strategic objectives. This includes delivering tailored banking solutions, increasing product penetration, and supporting the growth of loans, deposits, and fee-based income. The role contributes to digital adoption, customer retention, and service excellence while ensuring compliance and credit quality. The job holder plays a key role in executing the Corporate & SME Banking strategy by deepening client relationships, maximizing revenue potential, and enhancing the bank's market presence.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Acquire new-to-bank clients, with a particular focus on lending products (Loans & Advances), and grow a diversified portfolio of corporate and SME clients to drive revenue.
  • Structure and negotiate credit facilities (working capital, term loans, trade finance lines) based on detailed financial analysis and risk assessment.
  • Ensure full compliance with KYC/AML regulations and internal credit policies while maintaining strong risk discipline.
  • Drive cross-selling of payroll and digital banking solutions to maximize client wallet share.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, proactively identify early warning signals, and manage exposures to maintain strong asset quality.
  • Build effective internal partnerships with Credit, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and efficient service delivery.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5–10 years of UAE market experience in a similar role is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, and ratio analysis.
  • Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, credit policies, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Credit Review Packages (CRP).
  • Understanding of KYC, AML, and customer due diligence procedures.
  • Exposure to working with external credit agencies (e.g., AECB, CB RBR).
  • Proficient in coordinating loan documentation, disbursement processes, and audits.
  • Ability to interpret legal and technical reports related to collateral and facilities.
