Road Design Engineer (Traffic Engineer)

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Road Design Engineer (Traffic Engineer) with strong experience in temporary traffic management, traffic diversion planning, and tender-stage traffic engineering support. The candidate will be responsible for preparing traffic diversion schemes during the bidding phase, guiding drafters in preparing traffic management drawings, and providing technical support to projects for traffic diversion submissions and approvals. The role requires a solid understanding of UAE traffic regulations, RTA standards, and authority approval processes.

Requirements:

Develop temporary traffic diversion schemes for tender submissions based on project

requirements, site constraints, and authority standards.

Prepare technical methodologies, staging plans, and traffic management strategies that

ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Coordinate with the tender team to integrate traffic diversion requirements into the overall

technical proposal.

Provide technical support to project teams for traffic diversion planning and authority

submissions.

Review project traffic management requirements and ensure compliance with RTA, Dubai

Police, and local authority standards.

Assist in revising or updating traffic diversion plans as required by site conditions or authority

comments.

Lead and guide drafting staff in preparing high-quality traffic diversion drawings.

Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with RTA Traffic Control

Guidelines.

Manage workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of all drawings related to traffic

management.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic diversion planning, or

transportation-related technical roles.

Hands-on experience with RTA standards, temporary traffic management requirements, and

authority approval processes in the UAE/GCC.

Experience preparing traffic diversion schemes for tender submissions or project works.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; ability to guide drafters on traffic drawing standards.
