Job Title: Road Engineer
Location: Madinat Zayed (Project Location - Must be willing to relocate)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Road Engineer with strong technical expertise in roadway design, grading, drainage, and geotechnical review. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience and the ability to interpret Civil 3D outputs, verify design parameters, and provide sound engineering recommendations based on soil and drainage studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and review Civil 3D drawings, models, and design outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Verify roadway slopes, grading plans, cross‑sections, and alignments.
- Review and validate drainage reports, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations.
- Evaluate soil investigation reports, identify geotechnical risks, and provide engineering recommendations.
- Coordinate with design teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize road design solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and site assessments.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and support multidisciplinary coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in road design, civil infrastructure, or related engineering fields.
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, with the ability to interpret complex roadway models and outputs.
- Solid understanding of drainage design, grading, and geotechnical principles.
- Proven experience reviewing soil studies and preparing engineering recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
