Roads design engineer

This is a full-time on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Roads Design Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative road and infrastructure systems, preparing construction plans, conducting feasibility studies, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Daily tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, performing technical assessments, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with design standards and engineering codes. The role may also involve coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved efficiently and within the specified timeline.

• Strong proficiency in Design Engineering and experience with Product Design
• Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for infrastructure projects
• Foundational knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams with excellent problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus
• Previous experience in roads and infrastructure design is highly desirable
• Familiarity with regional and international standards for road design and construction
• Strong communication and project management skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
