Role Summary

The Robotics Project Manager will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, testing, live operations, and post-event support of large-scale robotics competitions. This role requires strong engineering leadership, flawless event execution capability, advanced technical testing expertise, and real-time client and participant support.

Key Responsibilities

Own the complete delivery lifecycle of national and international robotics competitions from concept to closure.

Lead competition planning, robot categories, field setup, scoring systems, and technical regulations.

Oversee arena setup, robot deployment, networking, power distribution, sensors, and safety systems.

Supervise full execution, system setup, stress testing, rehearsals, live operations, and technical shutdown.

Conduct dry-runs, failure simulations, and performance load testing before live execution.

Lead real-time on-site technical support during competitions for teams, judges, and operators.

Act as the single-point engineering authority for all live competition escalations and breakdowns.

Coordinate with referees, judges, trainers, vendors, safety officials, and operations teams.

Manage competition logistics, transportation, storage, setup, dismantling, and asset protection.

Lead post-event analysis, incident reporting, performance review, and continuous improvement planning.

Ensure full participant experience quality, safety compliance, and zero event disruption.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

For this technically oriented role, candidates are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline. A Master's degree in Engineering or Technology will be considered a strong added advantage and indicative of advanced technical expertise.

Minimum 510 years of experience in robotics project execution, competition management, or large-scale technical event delivery.

Proven hands-on experience managing robotics competitions is mandatory.

Demonstrated expertise in robot testing, field deployment, system debugging, and live technical operations.

Strong capability in managing multi-team technical coordination under live event pressure.

Mandatory Language & Event Leadership Requirements

Bilingual proficiency in English & Arabic is mandatory.

Must have direct experience leading national or international robotics competitions.

Must be capable of assuming full technical and operational ownership of competition delivery.
