Room Attendant

Job purpose:

Assist guests professionally across all Resort areas, delivering wellness-focused hospitality.

Clean and maintain guest rooms to Jayasom's high standards of comfort, hygiene, and presentation.

Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed expectations with attentive, personalized service.

Promote Jayasom's wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.

Key operational responsibilities:

Participate in daily briefings and communicate clearly to support smooth operations.

Build warm, professional relationships with guests and deliver a seamless experience from pre-arrival to post-departure.

Clean and maintain guest rooms and assigned areas to Jayasom's luxury wellness standards.

Ensure proper bathroom cleaning, bed making, room presentation, and garment arrangement as per guidelines.

Replenish amenities, manage linen handling, and maintain cleanliness checks in all areas.

Comply with all health, safety, and chemical handling procedures.

Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring full satisfaction and proper documentation.

Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Maintain accurate room status, linen, inventory, Lost & Found, and guest records.

Support daily reporting and keep welcome areas clean and representative of Jayasom's wellness atmosphere.

Collaborate proactively with other departments to ensure operational harmony and service excellence.

Job requirements:

BA in Hospitality Management or Diploma.

Proven experience in a similar housekeeping or resort role.

Experience working with multicultural teams.

Strong knowledge of housekeeping services, luxury service standards, and cleaning equipment and products.
