Role Description The Rope Access & Cleaner Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves performing cleaning and maintenance tasks on building exteriors, windows, and hard-to-reach areas using rope access systems and related equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely working at height, setting up and inspecting rope access gear, executing window and façade cleaning, and reporting any structural or safety issues observed during operations. The operator will follow established safety procedures, coordinate with supervisors and colleagues, and maintain accurate logs of completed work. The role also includes basic equipment care, adherence to company and regulatory safety standards, and participation in periodic safety drills and training.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work at height, including experience with Working at Height and Work at Height tasks.
- Hands-on experience with Rope Access techniques and equipment for safe vertical and horizontal movement.
- Practical skills in Window Cleaning and exterior surface cleaning for commercial or industrial buildings.
- Basic Inspection skills to identify safety hazards, equipment issues, and visible structural concerns.
- Relevant certifications in rope access (e.g., IRATA or equivalent) and working at height safety are highly desirable.
- Strong awareness of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and commitment to safe work practices.
- Physical fitness sufficient for climbing, lifting, and extended periods of work at height.
- Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and communicate clearly with supervisors and co-workers.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, façade maintenance, or similar roles is an advantage.
