We are actively looking to hire a Rust Developer to join a dynamic, forward-thinking, UAE based startup software development company, to work on large, exciting projects. This role requires onsite work in their Dubai office, Monday-Friday.
You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure applications within the ERP, Finance, Stock Exchange and Solana Blockchain systems, and will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of core business operations, with a focus on integrating with cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Rust, ensuring high performance and security for ERP, Finance, Stock Exchange and Solana functionalities.
- Contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts, delivering seamless user experiences within our financial systems.
- Integrate with blockchain technologies, understanding and applying core blockchain principles to financial transactions and data.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code with strong test coverage.
- Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions for financial and stock exchange operations.
- Participate in code reviews, uphold best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems to ensure maximum availability and performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Rust for both backend and frontend development.
- Solid understanding of blockchain principles and practical experience in blockchain integration, especially in a financial context.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases and SQLx.
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as Leptos and styling frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
