About Your Team

Our team specializes in delivering precise scaffolding and formwork designs that ensure safety, efficiency, and quality across projects. Working closely with site teams and suppliers, we focus on accuracy, compliance, and innovative solutions to optimize resources and meet project goals seamlessly.

Your Role

As an S&F Design Engineer, you will

• Responsible for the coordination and Preparation of Scaffolding and Formwork design and Drawings for the assigned ongoing project.
• Responsible for prioritizing the design requirements and delegating the works to S&F design team to meet the submission dates for the assigned ongoing project.
• Responsible for preparing the formwork design and material planning in line with construction program.
• Ensure timely and accurate exchange of information between S&F design and construction teams.
• Coordinate with site operation team and attends the meetings on a weekly basis with Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers etc.
• Assist the S&F unit for the Pretender and post tender activities.
• Responsible for selecting the appropriate Formwork and Scaffolding systems and preparing detailed design drawings, ensuring they align with the project's requirements, productivity targets, and safety standards.
• Responsible for the overall and immediate Scaffolding and Formwork handover dates for the assigned ongoing Projects and coordinate with S&F Design team for the drawing preparation accordingly.
• Coordinate with the external formwork suppliers, project design teams, In-house stockyard teams.
• Ensure that the design and drawing preparation for both scaffolding and formwork comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure that all design elements adhere to quality standards and project specifications.
• Review and approve design submissions, making sure they comply with technical requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams during site visits to ensure the design is implemented correctly.
• Assist to address and resolve any on-site design-related challenges or discrepancies that may arise during construction
• Introduce innovative ideas and solutions tailored to current project requirements and systems to maximize the use of in-house equipment.
• Adhere strictly to ALEC values and the company's Code of Ethics.
• Maintain honesty and sincerity in all work-related tasks and interactions, ensuring transparency and integrity

• Proven experience in preparing detailed scaffolding and formwork designs and material planning.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality compliance.
• Problem-solving skills to address on-site design challenges and introduce innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for seamless information exchange.
