We are seeking an experienced Market Research professional to lead and grow strategic client relationships, identify new commercial opportunities, and deliver high-impact insights-driven solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of client engagement, proposal development, project advisory, and financial management, with a strong focus on technology, telecommunications, and consumer durables industries across B2B and B2C segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key clients to support and grow their marketing research needs.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for NielsenIQ by pitching relevant and innovative research solutions.
  • Demonstrate deep industry expertise across technology, telecom, and durables sectors, serving both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Lead new opportunity prospecting by taking research briefs, developing compelling proposals, and presenting tailored propositions.
  • Advise clients on project execution, provide regular progress updates, and coordinate internally to ensure accurate data collection and processing.
  • Conduct secondary research to support the development of best-in-class proposals and thought leadership content.
  • Manage client stakeholders effectively by addressing queries, resolving concerns, and providing consultative guidance.
  • Oversee client financials including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and collections.
  • Build strategic understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities to support business planning.
  • Provide top management with comprehensive reviews of internal performance and client financials.
  • Actively contribute to NielsenIQ's thought leadership initiatives and industry presence.

Role Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with mandatory experience in market research.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to understand technical and complex client briefs, particularly within financial services and related industries.
  • End-to-end ownership of proposal development, from brief interpretation to solution design and pricing.
  • Sound understanding of analysis tools, data interpretation, and insights-based storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills with a consultative, data-driven selling approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC markets is a strong advantage experience within a multinational market research agency preferred.
