Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer with strong MEP background and valid KOC/KNPC approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at MEP project sites.
- Ensure full compliance with KOC/KNPC safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and hazard identification.
- Monitor site activities to ensure safe work practices.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project team, consultants, and client representatives on safety matters.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and audit records.
- Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
- 810 years of experience in MEP projects, preferably in Oil & Gas sector.
- Mandatory valid KOC/KNPC approval.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Kuwait safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Transferable visa (Article 18) Local hiring only in Kuwait.
