Tagaddod is looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our team. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Provide safety training and guidance to employees and contractors
- Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities and prepare reports for management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety across all operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in safety engineering, ideally within industrial settings, with preference given to candidates who have worked in chemical manufacturing or oil & gas environments
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to conduct training and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
