Position: Safety Officer
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced QHSE Officer to join our team within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Project Quality Plans (PQP), method statements, and risk assessments
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
- Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports
- Manage QA/QC documentation and quality dossiers
- Close NCRs, SORs, and safety observations in a timely manner
- Support achieving a zero-accident work environment
Key Requirements:
- Diploma Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Industrial, or Safety Engineering)
- Additional safety certifications
- Occupational Safety Hazard and control Measures of these Hazards about 5+ years Experience
- Strong knowledge of HSE audits, risk assessment, JSA/JHA, and QA/QC documentation
Preferred:
- Previous experience or approval with Aramco or SABIC is a strong advantage
