Job Description
We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team in Jeddah.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational health and safety requirements across the project site
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices
- Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Follow up and close out safety observations and corrective actions
- Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification activities
- Ensure compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for the workforce
- Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirement
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction or infrastructure project
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certificatio
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulation
- Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, and Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Strong communication, reporting, and teamwork skill
