Safety Officer

Our journey started as Hala Express in 1993 with 150 vehicles. NAQEL Express, as an entity, is a joint venture between Saudi Post and Hala Express, formed in 2005.

Our journey reached a new milestone in 2022 when Saudi Post (SPL) fully acquired NAQEL Express in line with the National Industry Development and Logistics Program of Vision 2030.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Officer to join our team In Dammam and Jubail

-Duties and responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular site inspections , risk assessments , and safety audits
2. Responsible to assist the HSSE Manager for implementing and evaluating category safety plans which helps to minimize accidents.
3. Assist in the development and presentation of relevant safety and security training.
4. Achieve a level of safety and security management that leads to a safe operation and improve employee safety culture .
5. Ensure all employees are equipped with proper PPE and follow safety protocols .
6. Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure emergency procedures are up to date.

-Skills:

1. Understanding of risk assessment and accident investigation
2. Knowledge of emergency response planning and fire prevention
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Attention to detail and high level of integrity .
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools
