Job Overview
Responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the project site, aligned with SEC safety standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with SEC 5-Star Safety System
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits
- Identify hazards and perform risk assessments
- Ensure proper use of PPE
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work system (PTW)
- Monitor subcontractors safety performance
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety
- Experience in 33 kV substations projects
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and SEC standards
- Familiar with SLPP system
- Good communication and leadership skills
Additional Skills
- Experience with contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems
- Familiarity with environmental management and emergency response coordination
- First aid, fire warden, or other practical safety certifications are desirable
- Prior experience in substation, utilities, or critical infrastructure projects is an advantage

Location & Reporting
Position reports to the HSE Manager and will work closely with project managers, site engineers, operations, and contractors. Location and onsite expectations will be specified during the hiring process.
