Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dammam for a Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health and safety standards within the organization. Daily tasks include conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with local occupational health regulations, facilitating safety training sessions, leading accident investigations, and maintaining workplace security protocols. The role requires close collaboration with team members and stakeholders to create a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Health & Safety protocols and Occupational Health practices.
- Ability to lead thorough Accident Investigations and implement corrective measures effectively.
- Familiarity with Security practices to ensure workplace protection.
- Proficiency in delivering Safety Training programs to support an informed workforce.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Understanding of local safety regulations and compliance requirements in Dammam or Saudi Arabia.
- Certification in health and safety management, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in a safety-focused role, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
