Description
We are seeking a qualified Safety Supervisor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety, ensuring compliance with Kuwait labor law, ministry protocols, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations across sites and departments.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor law, ministry requirements, and company safety standards.
- Supervise and guide site staff on safe practices and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with HR, Procurement, and Civil/Structural departments for safety compliance in operations.
- Maintain records of safety drills, PPE distribution, and hazard control measures.
- Report directly to the Project Manager/HR Department on safety performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Minimum 2 of experience in construction/industrial safety supervision within Kuwait.
- Knowledge of Kuwait labor law and ministry safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills (English/Arabic preferred).
- Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or NEBOSH/OSHA is an advantage.
