Description:
Providing Leadership and direction to the sales and commercial organization within the company, the candidate is responsible for managing the sales and commercial organization including developing the appropriate business plans. Also, accountable for delivering sales goals including pricing and volume targets for the MENA and accounts under responsibility.
Key responsibilities included (but aren't limited to):
· Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
· Develops corporate contracting policies and guidelines, contract model forms and systems.
· Reviews, drafts and negotiates local and regional service contracts and/or commercial documents.
· Analyses and develops an understanding of regional accounts and strategic business drivers, and regularly communicates that information to the business.
· Maintains an understanding of the regional market conditions impacting the accounts.
· Provides regular business updates around MENA market dynamics.
· Proactively discovers and communicates the clients strategy and direction to the enterprise and management
· Creates and executes MENA account plans based on the business and customer growth opportunities.
· Monitor industry trends and market competitors to support sales goals
· Regularly reports detailed price, volume, and forecasts to the business.
· Utilizes correct tools and drives sales results which delivers the best possible margins to the company.
· Develops sales and commercial plans for oil& gas clients.
· Develops sales and commercial plans for beyond oil& gas clients.
· Advises company's Legal, tax, HSE, quality and finance representatives to identify various project-related risks or concerns.
· Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
· Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
· Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service etc.)
· Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
· Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
· Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
· Communicates relevant success stories to client executives.
· Manages social events with clients as required & handles special projects, as assigned.
· Coaches and mentors peers and more junior Commercial Managers/Sales Managers/Operations Managers.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Proven experience as commercial director or another relevant role
· Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
· In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
· Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
· Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
· Advanced knowledge of contracting statutes. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills both horizontally and vertically in the organization.
· Excellent negotiating skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to implement CRM processes for MENA customers.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 12+ years experience in related field.
