The Sales & Distribution Manager will spearhead commercial growth by managing a dual-channel strategy: driving high-end physical retail presence and accelerating digital/online sales. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of the product, from local UAE concept stores to global export networks and E-commerce marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
1. Retail & In-Store Excellence (Local & GCC)
- Expansion: Identify, negotiate, and onboard premium retail and concept store partners across the UAE and GCC.
- Relationship Management: Build deep trade relationships to secure prime shelf positioning and brand visibility.
- B2B & Gifting: Lead corporate sales and bespoke gifting partnerships to drive consistent bulk revenue.
- Training: Conduct product training for floor staff to ensure the brand story is told effectively at the point of sale.
2. E-commerce & Digital Sales (Online)
- Marketplace Management: Oversee sales performance on key platforms (e.g., Amazon, Noon, Ounass) and the brand's own E-commerce website.
- Digital Strategy: Collaborate with the digital team to optimize Online Sell-out via targeted promotions, bundles, and exclusive online launches.
- Omnichannel Integration: Ensure a seamless customer journey between online browsing and in-store purchasing.
3. Distribution & Export
- Global Growth: Develop and manage the company's export network by appointing and auditing strategic distributors globally.
- Compliance: Manage international pricing structures, commercial documentation, and regulatory compliance for different territories.
4. Commercial Strategy & Reporting
- Data-Driven Planning: Create and execute quarterly sales plans that balance offline volume with online growth.
- Market Intelligence: Provide continuous competitor tracking, fragrance trend analysis, and pricing recommendations.
- Performance Metrics: Deliver monthly reports on revenue, gross margins, and growth updates to the leadership team.
5. Marketing & Brand Collaborations
- Brand Synergy: Identify and execute high-impact brand collaborations (both creative and commercial).
- Campaign Alignment: Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure sales activities align with brand aesthetics and storytelling.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue: Achieve quarterly sales targets across all channels (In-store, Online, and Export).
- Network Growth: Secure 1012 new strategic partnerships or global distributors annually.
- Performance: Increase total sell-out by 35% YoY.
- Brand Integrity: Maintain strict margin control and pricing consistency across all global markets and online platforms.
- Launches: Support or lead 5+ collaboration or product launches per year.
Candidate Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum 10 years in the Fragrance or Luxury Retail industry (Mandatory).
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
- Channel Expertise: Proven track record in managing both B2B (Distribution) and B2C (Retail/Online) sales channels.
- Regional Knowledge: Strong established network within the GCC fragrance retail landscape.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and data analytical skills.
- Languages: Fluent in English (Arabic or French is a significant advantage).
- Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced start-up environment within a luxury context.
