Job Description

The Sales & Education Manager is responsible for driving business growth by leading sales strategies while overseeing education and training programs within the beauty industry. This role blends strong commercial acumen with educational leadership to ensure revenue targets are achieved and exceptional client and salon experiences are delivered.

The role manages sales performance, builds and maintains strong relationships with salons, distributors, and key partners, and designs effective training solutions for internal teams, salon professionals, and distributors. All activities are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, brand standards, and market needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Achieve assigned sales targets through effective leadership and team management.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the beauty and professional products market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with salons, distributors, and professional partners.
  • Lead key account management and support sales representatives in achieving objectives.
  • Monitor competitors, product launches, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Education & Training Programs

  • Design and deliver product education and technical training programs aligned with brand standards.
  • Oversee preparation and continuous updates of training materials, demos, workshops, and salon education sessions.
  • Ensure consistent quality and delivery of education activities across trainers and educators.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously develop trainers technical and presentation skills.
  • Act as a technical expert and stay updated on beauty industry trends, techniques, and best practices.

Performance & Budget Management

  • Develop, manage, and monitor sales and education budgets.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective training activities.
  • Convert education initiatives into revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Track, analyze, and report KPIs related to sales performance and education effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach, mentor, and support sales teams, trainers, and educators.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, set objectives, and support career development plans.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on engagement, motivation, and retention.

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.

Certifications & Licenses

  • Certified training, coaching, or beauty professional credentials are an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record in sales management within the beauty or professional products industry.
  • Strong experience in designing and delivering beauty-related education and training programs.
  • Solid understanding of strategic sales planning, salon education practices, and customer engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to balance commercial objectives with education excellence.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
