Role Description

The Sales & Onboarding Executive will play a pivotal role in onboarding clients, ensuring their smooth integration and optimal use of our platform. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, demonstrating our platform's capabilities to potential clients, maintaining customer relationships, and providing necessary training and support during onboarding. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuwait City, requiring excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Tele-Sales

Serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website forms, referrals, and partners.

Conduct outbound follow-ups to understand merchant needs, business model, shipping volumes, and operational requirements.

Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (business readiness, service fit, geography, and expected volume).

Present iCARRY's services clearly over the phone, highlighting value propositions such as local delivery, cross-border shipping, fulfillment, and system automation.

Handle initial pricing explanations and service scope discussions, escalating complex commercial negotiations when required.

Convert qualified leads into active merchants and secure commitment to proceed with onboarding.

2. Demo Preparation & Platform Presentation

Collect and analyze merchant information to tailor demos and onboarding sessions.

Support or conduct platform demonstrations, showcasing shipment creation, order management, inventory tracking, and reporting features.

Address high-level operational and system-related questions during demos in coordination with Sales and Technical teams.

3. Merchant Account Setup & System Configuration

Set up merchant accounts, including user credentials, access levels, and initial system configurations.

Coordinate with the Technical team for integrations, custom workflows, and API connections (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, custom APIs).

Ensure all required documentation, pricing approvals, and financial setups are completed prior to activation.

4. Merchant Training & Activation

Conduct live onboarding and training sessions covering system usage, workflows, SLAs, and operational best practices.

Provide merchants with onboarding materials such as user guides, handbooks, and video tutorials.

Support merchants through their first live transactions to ensure confidence and correct system usage.

Monitor initial activity and proactively address issues that may delay activation.

5. Post-Activation Handover & Support Coordination

Prepare a structured handover to Customer Support, including merchant configuration, operational notes, and outstanding actions.

Introduce merchants to their dedicated Customer Support representative and clarify post-onboarding support channels.

Escalate unresolved technical or operational issues to the relevant internal teams.

Any other task deemed fit by the head of department or management

Qualifications

  • Sales and negotiation skills with experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with customer service expertise
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to learn and explain software or platforms like e-commerce integrations
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and project management abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English is required, and Arabic language skills is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, or technology industries is an advantage
