Job Summary:
The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the organization's sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, market positioning, and brand visibility for EPZR. The role oversees both sales and marketing functions, ensures alignment with the company's mission, and enhances presence in the competitive market through strategic promotion of EPZR's values, experiences, products, and services.
This role requires strong leadership, long-term strategic planning, financial insight, and brand stewardship. The Director collaborates closely with the Finance Controller, Director of Operations, and all department heads to achieve revenue targets, elevate guest experience, and ensure alignment with EPZR's vision and strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Work closely with the CEO to deliver the organization's objectives, mission, and vision.
- Lead the overall Sales & Marketing strategy and roadmap for EPZR.
- Develop and implement long- and short-term strategic plans and departmental objectives.
- Build department SOPs, frameworks, and best practices to guide operational efficiency.
- Define KPIs for performance evaluation and align with business goals.
- Provide analytical and KPI-driven reporting to the CEO on progress, performance, and financial outcomes.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Develop and deliver sales strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and secure opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, B2B deals, co-branding, and corporate collaborations.
- Ensure quarterly sales targets are met, with contingency planning for recovery where needed.
- Oversee prepaid ticket programs, corporate sales, membership packages, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Create and maintain a long-term brand and marketing strategy that elevates EPZR's market presence and reputation.
- Oversee production quality for marketing materials (videos, photography, digital ads, brochures, website content, etc.) ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Plan annual marketing campaigns, promotions, and events with innovative market-driven concepts.
- Manage relationships with media, PR agencies, influencers, community partners, and external marketing entities.
- Optimize ROAS across campaigns and ensure cost-effective marketing investments.
Digital & Media Oversight
- Oversee the company website, SEO performance, paid media initiatives, social media content, and online reputation/review platforms.
- Evaluate performance across digital channels and ensure continuous improvement for reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Approve campaign execution delivered by digital teams and external media partners.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams including Operations, Finance, Education, Resort, F&B, Zoological, and others to align goals and support integrated marketing.
- Develop marketing initiatives to promote veterinary services to pet owners, animal rescue units, and relevant communities.
- Support educational outreach and conservation communications in coordination with the Education Department.
- Collaborate with the Resort General Manager to drive resort bookings, visibility, and guest experience initiatives.
- Represent EPZR with DCT, municipalities, tourism bodies, travel agencies, corporate partners, and strategic external stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Employee Performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Sales & Marketing team.
- Monitor staff performance, identify growth paths, and provide recommendations to HR.
- Maintain a culture of creativity, accountability, and target-driven execution.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- 1215 years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles.
- Strong strategic leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant business management tools.
- Experience in budget planning, performance analysis, and ROI-centric decision-making.
