Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies to drive the growth and profitability of Emirates Park Zoo and Resorts. The role involves overseeing the implementation of the marketing and sales teams, building and managing the brand, generating the target revenue and enhance the presence within the market through the effective promotion of the EPZR s Values, Experiences, products and services.
The S&M Director will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning, & optimizing financial performance, enhancing visitor experiences, aligned vision & mission of EPZR.
This Sales & Marketing Director will collaborate closely with the Finance Controller, Director of Operation & Other Directors & department heads to achieve the zoo's mission and strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO to achieve the company's mission and vision.
- Lead the overall Sales & Marketing strategy of the EPZR.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for sales and marketing.
- Create and develop the S&M department SOPs for best practice.
- Create the KPIs aligned with targets and goals.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to achieve short and long-term objectives including Revenue & brand development.
Provide regular updates with metrics of KPIs and financial reports to the CEO.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet the company's revenue, growth, and brand objectives.
- Create a consistent long-term Marketing strategy that enhances the visibility, reputation, and image of EPZR.
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team of marketing and sales.
- Ensure high quality and standards in terms of production materials used in sales and marketing including but not limited to Videos, photos, brochures, website, etc. aligned with the brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Education, Zoological, Resort, F&B, etc.) to execute the plans and achieve the goals.
- Oversee the execution of the marketing agencies, affiliate marketing, outbound marketing, influencers, and any other third party utilized in marketing, approving their work and verifying the outcomes.
- Plan the events, and campaigns yearly and introduce new innovative approaches that enhance market share.
- Identify potential opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, memberships, events participations, co-branding, and corporates that lead to increased revenue and networking.
- Ensure all sales and Marketing targets are met quarterly and prepare a plan B in place.
- Oversee the website performance, SEO, social media, reviews, and outdoor hard ads.
- Oversee sales and marketing staff performance and make recommendations based on performance and metrics to HR.
- Measure and analyze the success of each component e.g. digital marketing, sales, prepaid tickets, corporates, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with public relations e.g. PR agency, media outlets, TV, press releases, community outreach activities, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Ensure cost-effective strategies while maximizing the conversion using ROAS Metric.
- Collaborate with the director of Operations to develop special events, seasonal offerings, and planning strategies that meet both financial goals and guest expectations.
Collaborate with the General Manager of the Resort to develop and implement the resort's goal.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotions to drive bookings for the resort, increase guest satisfaction, and attract diverse demographics.
- Develop the Marketing of the Zoo veterinary services to local pet owners, animal rescue organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work with the education department, reflect the education outreach and conservation efforts done by EPZR.
- Arrange, attend, and hold meetings with stakeholders, Abu Dhabi Tourist (DCT), culture, municipalities and travel agencies for fostering EPZR.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (master's degree is preferred).
Experience
- Minimum of 12- 15 years of experience in marketing and sales leadership.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary:- Aed 15,000 - 20,000
