The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving vehicle sales targets by providing excellent customer service, understanding customer requirements, presenting suitable vehicles, and managing the complete sales process from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery. The role requires strong product knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and professionally assist walk-in and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles based on their needs and budget.
- Conduct detailed vehicle presentations and explain features, specifications, benefits, and available options.
- Arrange and conduct vehicle test drives in accordance with company procedures.
- Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into successful sales.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate new leads through referrals, networking, corporate visits, events, and other business development activities.
- Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and vehicle specifications for customers.
- Explain pricing, promotions, financing options, insurance, and other relevant services.
- Negotiate sales within approved company policies and guidelines.
- Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth vehicle booking, registration, financing, insurance, and delivery processes.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM system.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects and customers.
- Ensure a professional and positive customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and escalate issues when required.
- Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle models, specifications, features, accessories, and promotions.
- Stay informed about competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Attend product training sessions and continuously improve sales and product knowledge.
