Sales Development Manager (SDM)

About the Role

Engineering Zone Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Development Manager (SDM) to lead our business development efforts across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing the Sales Development Team, generating qualified sales opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and driving business growth within the Oil & Gas, Industrial, Energy, and Government sectors.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in B2B sales development, and a proven track record of generating business opportunities through outbound prospecting and strategic account targeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Sales Development Team (SDRs).

• Develop and execute lead generation and business development strategies.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.

• Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations.

• Oversee outbound prospecting activities including calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.

• Establish and monitor sales development KPIs and performance metrics.

• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor SDR team members.

• Ensure accurate CRM management and reporting.

• Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, and Technical Teams.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

• Support strategic growth initiatives and market expansion plans.

• Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, or B2B Sales.

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing sales or business development teams.

• Proven experience in lead generation and opportunity development.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• Experience with CRM platforms and sales automation tools.

• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
