Position OverviewThe Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for the company's fragrance portfolio across all regions. This role focuses on developing effective sales strategies, strengthening distribution channels, and positioning the brand competitively within the perfume and cosmetics industry.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion (Fragrance Focus)- Develop and execute sales strategies specifically tailored to the fragrance and cosmetics market.
- Identify growth opportunities across retail, wholesale, and distributor channels.
- Expand brand presence in key markets, including GCC, MENA, and international regions.
2. Channel Development & Distribution- Manage and expand relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts in the fragrance sector.
- Oversee performance of retail outlets, perfumery chains, and online sales channels.
- Ensure strong market penetration and optimal product placement.
3. Product Positioning & Commercial Planning- Work closely with marketing on fragrance launches, pricing strategies, and promotions.
- Align sales strategies with brand positioning and seasonal campaigns.
- Provide market feedback on product performance, customer preferences, and trends.
4. Key Account Management- Build and maintain relationships with major clients, distributors, and partners.
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and agreements.
- Ensure long-term partnerships that support brand growth.
5. Sales Performance & Targets- Set and monitor sales targets across regions and channels.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize performance.
- Drive initiatives to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
6. Team Leadership- Lead and develop the sales team across different markets.
- Set KPIs, incentives, and performance evaluation systems.
- Build a strong, motivated, and results-driven sales culture.
7. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis- Monitor fragrance industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Identify emerging trends in consumer preferences and luxury/perfume segments.
- Provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 810 years of sales experience, preferably within the fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.
- A strong network within the perfume and beauty industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in managing distributors and expanding regional markets.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of branding, retail, and consumer behaviour in the fragrance market.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
