MCG Talent has partnered with a leading Digital Media Firm to identify a Sales Director to lead it's Direct Sales division based in Dubai.
As a Sales Director, you'll drive strategic growth, identify new opportunities and be the point of contact for managing key client relationships within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a direct sales team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members; build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, regular reviews, and succession planning.
- Partner closely with the leadership team on overall sales strategy, pricing, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Client Engagement & Revenue Generation
- Personally own and grow a portfolio of strategic/key accounts, building and maintaining C-level relationships.
- Drive complex, high-value deal negotiations from proposal to closure, ensuring tailored solutions and flawless campaign delivery and reporting.
- Proactively identify and close new business opportunities across existing and new client segments.
Pipeline, Performance & Revenue Optimization
- Own the accuracy of the sales pipeline and forecasting through rigorous weekly/monthly reviews.
- Monitor circuit/asset performance, fill rates, and yield; analyze data to spot trends, opportunities, and underperforming inventory, then implement corrective actions and targeted business plans.
Business Development & Sector Strategy
- Develop and maintain a deep industry roadmap across priority verticals (Banking, Auto, Airlines, F&B, FMCG, Hospitality, Luxury, etc.).
- Design and execute sector-specific engagement and seasonal campaign strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
Who You Are:
- Proven track record in media sales (ideally Out-of-Home and Digital-Out-of-Home) with consistent target achievement, strong deal-closing skills, and experience managing key accounts.
- Demonstrated leadership success in building and managing high-performing sales teams in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
- Structured and proactive new-business hunter: skilled in outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and industry events to penetrate new sectors and accelerate growth.
- Deep knowledge of the regional media landscape, particularly DOOH.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen; comfortable interpreting data and turning insights into action.
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the gravitas to represent the company at senior levels.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- Highly collaborative, professional, and team-oriented.
