Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director(UAEN) with deep expertise across freight forwarding, logistics services, commercial sales (B2B & B2C), and strategic sector engagement. The ideal candidate will drive significant revenue growth, lead high-impact sales strategies, and manage major customer relationships across freight, supply chain, pharma, oil & gas, materials, F&B, and government accounts. This role is critical in expanding the organization's commercial footprint in the UAE and GCC, serving as a key leader in both field sales execution and strategic market development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and lead end-to-end sales strategies for freight, logistics, and sector portfolios across both B2B and B2C customer segments
  • Set and execute annual and quarterly commercial targets with full accountability for revenue, market share, and profitability
  • Lead strategic pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiations with major enterprise and government clients
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business while expanding relationships with high-value existing accounts

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Act as the principal commercial representative in customer engagements, delivering solution-based approaches for freight forwarding, logistics contracts, warehousing, and cross-border shipping services
  • Lead market analysis, competitor research, and commercial intelligence to support go-to-market strategies
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, trade shows, and senior stakeholder meetings

Sales Execution & Operations

  • Lead and manage direct sales teams and channel partners to ensure high performance against KPIs and delivery of customer commitments
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, pricing, CRM, and digital teams to ensure seamless execution from lead generation through service delivery
  • Oversee CRM governance, pipeline reporting, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance dashboards

B2B & B2C Sales Coverage

  • Drive B2B commercial growth with large corporates, government entities, 3PL/4PL providers, manufacturers, and strategic accounts across priority sectors
  • Lead B2C engagement strategies where applicable (e-commerce logistics, consumer freight solutions, large customer segments)
  • Develop customer segmentation, retention, and expansion strategies to maximize lifetime customer value

Essential Competencies & Skills

  • Industry & Commercial Acumen: Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics services (air/sea/land), supply chain solutions, and UAE market dynamics
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver sustained commercial growth
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives, government officials, and strategic partners
  • Analytical & Market Insight: Strong capability to interpret market trends, competitor behavior, and customer data
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline (MBA or professional certifications preferred)
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in senior sales leadership roles within freight forwarding, logistics, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success across B2B enterprise sales and B2C market engagement, including government and multinational accounts
  • Sector exposure to logistics providers, ports, freight operators, pharma, oil & gas, materials, and F&B ecosystems
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, closing large contracts, and driving growth in competitive markets
