Job Overview:
We are actively looking for a Sales & Distribution Manager who will be responsible to handle our overall sales business across the Saudi Arabian market.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the bakery and/or confectionary industry, a strong network within the Saudi Arabia's trade market, a deep understanding of retailer pricing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve market share and revenue goals
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the Saudi Arabian market.
- Align sales plans with overall business objectives and market trends.
Account Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts for all different trade markets.
- Utilize existing network and references to enhance business relationships and drive sales growth.
- Oversee terms, conditions, and promotional activities of retail partners based on the ROI for the company.
- Responsible for P&L
Sales Execution:
- Ensure effective execution of sales plans and promotional activities.
- Monitor retailer's sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about consumer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and market analysis to senior management.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of retailer pricing structures and operational processes.
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, retail partners, and distributors.
- Established network and connections within the Saudi Arabia's modern, general & other trade market.
- Ability to effectively present data, strategies, and performance reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience within the Food & Beverages (F&B) sector in the Saudi Arabia market
- Extensive experience working with different trade channels in the Saudi Arabia market.
- Having connects and experience in dealing with senior management/ buying authority of different Trade accounts
