Job Brief:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer with 510 years of experience in shutdown and maintenance services within industrial sectors. The role focuses on developing new business, managing client relationships, preparing technical proposals, and driving revenue growth through consultative and solution-based selling support for maintenance and shutdown projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in shutdown and maintenance services across industrial clients in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, technical stakeholders, and key accounts to secure new projects and service contracts.
  • Develop technical sales proposals, cost estimates, quotations, and commercial offers tailored to client requirements.
  • Present solutions to clients, conduct technical presentations, and demonstrate the value of services in resolving maintenance challenges.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, estimating, service delivery) to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and delivery of service offerings.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance with legal, technical, and commercial standards.
  • Track sales activity, manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, technical meetings, and client site visits as required to support relationship-building and business development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 510 years of experience in sales, business development, or client engagement within shutdown, maintenance, industrial services, or heavy fabrication environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing technical service contracts.
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial maintenance, shutdown planning, turnaround services, or related industrial service offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, understand client technical requirements, and convert them into deliverable solutions.
  • Customercentric focus with strong relationship-building and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and preparing technical documentation and proposals.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits and project discussions.
