We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Engineer to manage and grow a diverse customer portfolio, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. This is an exciting field-based role for a sales professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for customer engagement, consultative selling, and business development. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sustainable growth across the assigned territory by expanding existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales growth across an assigned territory through a combination of account development, new business acquisition, and customer retention strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, identifying key stakeholders, decision-makers, growth opportunities, and long-term partnership potential.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face meetings, consultative discussions, and ongoing engagement.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and tailored automation and instrumentation solutions that address customer needs and support business growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industries and accounts, expanding the company's market presence.
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are progressed effectively from lead generation through to order closure.
- Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitor movements, providing timely market intelligence and recommendations to support business strategy.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and account information within Salesforce CRM, ensuring data integrity and effective pipeline management.
- Achieve defined sales and customer engagement targets through a disciplined, field-based approach, maximizing customer-facing time and territory coverage.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and successful delivery of solutions.
- Provide regular activity, account, and visit reports, using data-driven insights to optimize territory performance and support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of successful field sales experience within automation, instrumentation, industrial, or other technical industries
- Strong account management, consultative selling, and territory planning capabilities
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Previous experience with a multinational organization
- Ability to travel extensively across the assigned territory
- Self-driven, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset
- Application knowledge within the Food & Beverage (F&B) and Water sectors is a plus
- Experience managing large account portfolios and working to measurable sales targets
