Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Water Treatment & Filtration to develop business opportunities, manage client relationships, and provide technical solutions in water treatment systems. The role involves end-to-end sales cycle management including client consultation, system design coordination, proposal preparation, and post-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in water treatment and filtration markets
- Generate leads through contractors, consultants, and end-users
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
2. Client Consultation
- Understand client requirements and site conditions
- Recommend suitable water treatment solutions (RO, UF, NF, media filters, softeners, etc.)
- Conduct site visits to assess technical needs and challenges
3. Technical Proposals & Quotations
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and compliance documents
- Design system layouts based on client requirements and site conditions
- Coordinate with engineering team for accurate system sizing and design
4. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and support
5. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project execution and service teams for smooth project delivery
- Follow up on installation, commissioning, and system performance
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Identify new opportunities based on market demand and regulations
7. Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting records
- Update CRM regularly with client interactions and project status
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of water treatment systems (RO, UF, NF, filtration, disinfection)
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings
- Understanding of water chemistry and treatment processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to convert technical solutions into business benefits
- Problem-solving mindset with client-focused approach
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in sales of water treatment, filtration, or related industrial equipment
- Preferred industries: HVAC / MEP / Water Treatment
Technical Skills
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- CRM software experience (preferred)
License Requirement
- Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
- Willingness to travel within UAE and GCC region
Work Conditions
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Single shift
- UAE-based field & office role
Salary Package
- Basic Salary: AED 4,500
- HRA / Accommodation: AED 1,500
- Transportation: Provided by company
- Medical Insurance: Provided by company
- Commission: As per company policy
