We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales capabilities with technical expertise to support, demonstrate, install, and maintain ophthalmology capital equipment while building long-term client relationships and achieving sales targets. The role also includes the sales and promotion of ophthalmology consumables.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development• Manage and organize assigned territory accounts while achieving sales targets according to company SOPs.
• Introduce and promote the full product portfolio equally and effectively, including ophthalmology consumables and ophthalmology capital equipment.
• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Conduct daily field visits and sales calls to healthcare professionals, retailers, clinics, hospitals, and potential clients.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate offers, close sales deals, and follow up on payment collection professionally.
• Maintain continuous follow-up on existing products and customer satisfaction.
• Research market trends, competitor products, pricing, and industry updates.
Technical Support & Equipment Management• Demonstrate, install, and provide technical support for ophthalmology capital equipment.
• Handle customer inquiries related to equipment repair and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of installed units according to maintenance schedules and contracts.
• Coordinate with management and engineering teams for major maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate machine files, service reports, and equipment logbooks.
Training & Customer Support• Conduct product and equipment training sessions for practitioners and assistants.
• Provide technical guidance and product knowledge to customers and colleagues.
• Handle customer complaints and technical issues professionally and efficiently.
Administrative Responsibilities• Prepare daily activity reports and monthly schedules in coordination with management.
• Maintain organized customer records, requests, and account histories.
• Optimize time management and territory coverage while maintaining operational efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optometry, Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, technical support, or field operations (medical field experience is a plus).
• Strong technical understanding of ophthalmology capital equipment, consumables, and medical products.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and hardware systems.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
