About the Role
Responsible for driving business growth in the water treatment sector, with a focus on O&M contracts for RO plants, STPs, and wastewater facilities. This includes identifying new opportunities, preparing competitive proposals, securing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the water treatment market, particularly O&M contracts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize business opportunities.
- Conduct market research on trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Lead contract negotiations and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Develop accurate, competitive technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements and tender specifications.
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, and operations teams for optimized solutions.
- Review and enhance proposals to improve win rate.
- Present proposals and technical solutions to clients, addressing inquiries and clarifying scope.
- Ensure smooth project handover to operations after contract award.
- Provide necessary clarifications and commercial support during execution.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and market activity reports for the Regional Sales Manager.
- Utilize the CRM system in line with company policy.
- Ensure all activities comply with QHSSE, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and local regulations.
- Promote safety, quality, and environmental best practices in all interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical).
- Strong background in water treatment plants (RO, STP, wastewater).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in Qatar.
- 6–10 years’ experience in water treatment industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM experience is an advantage.
