Job Summary

A Sales Engineer LV & MV (Oil & Gas) is required to drive business growth within the Oil & Gas sector, with a primary focus on Low Voltage and Medium Voltage solutions under the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) portfolio. The role is responsible for identifying opportunities, managing technical-commercial proposals, supporting tendering activities, and closing project-based sales for LV and MV systems serving upstream, midstream, downstream, and industrial facilities across Saudi Arabia. The position requires strong technical knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, distribution systems, packaged substations, and auxiliary power solutions, along with proven capability in managing EPCs, end users, consultants, and local approval authorities. Success in this role depends on achieving revenue, margin, and market-penetration targets in line with Saudi Oil & Gas market dynamics and procurement practices.

Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and grow business within the Oil & Gas segment for Power Generation and associated High Voltage solutions.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities with end users, EPC contractors, consultants, and integrators; maintain a strong pipeline and forecast accuracy.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical clarification, site visits, proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
  • Lead tender/RFP/RFQ activities and ensure compliance with all commercial and technical requirements, including submission deadlines and required documentation.
  • Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, including scope of supply, compliance sheets, deviations, project schedules, and pricing structure.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, proposal, and supply chain teams to confirm technical feasibility, equipment selection, lead times, and project risks.
  • Present solutions and deliver technical discussions covering high voltage interfaces, protection concepts, grid compliance (as applicable), and project execution approach.
  • Support contract negotiations, commercial terms, and handover to project execution teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Track market activity, upcoming projects, competitor positioning, and client requirements to improve win rate and product positioning.
  • Ensure all activities align with company policies, quality requirements, and safety expectations for industrial and Oil & Gas environments.

Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Must).
  • Proven experience in LV & MV Voltage sales and project-based selling within Oil & Gas environments.
  • Experience supporting EPC projects, tendering, and formal procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and client specifications (IEC/IEEE and major industrial requirements); ability to read and interpret single line diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Valid driving license (if required for client meetings and site visits).
