Job Purpose
We are looking for energetic Sales Engineer who can actively go out into the market, meet clients, and bring new business to Manweir. This role suits individuals who are confident, motivated, and ready to perform in a results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively target and develop sales opportunities within EPC contractors and Oil and Gas maintenance projects across Qatar.
- Build strong relationships with project managers, procurement teams, and maintenance heads to secure approved vendor status and project participation.
- Identify upcoming tenders, shutdown projects, and maintenance contracts, positioning Manweir's services at early project stages.
- Promote Manweir's core capabilities in machining, repair, welding, fabrication, and electrical services specifically for maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate closely with estimation and operations teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals for maintenance works.
- Follow up consistently on submitted quotations to secure purchase orders and long-term service agreements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets by focusing on project-based revenue and recurring maintenance contracts.
- Maintain an active pipeline of Oil and Gas maintenance opportunities and provide structured weekly updates on progress and secured business.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in technical sales, industrial services or Oil & Gas.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when meeting customers.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working in a performance-based role.
- Ability to work independently and produce results through field activity.
