Job Summary:
A Junior Sales Engineer supports the sales process by understanding customer requirements and assisting in delivering suitable technical solutions. The role involves building initial client relationships, preparing basic proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure effective product positioning and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify customer needs and assist in recommending appropriate products or engineering solutions.
- Support in generating new business opportunities by researching and approaching potential clients.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Assist in preparing quotations, technical proposals, and cost estimates in coordination with internal teams.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations under supervision.
- Follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries to ensure timely response and conversion.
- Support the negotiation process and help in closing sales deals.
- Coordinate with technical, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Assist in introducing new products to the market and gathering customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and update CRM systems regularly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, mechatronics, or relevant field).
- 1–3 years of experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer handling.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
