Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer – Swimming Pools with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the swimming pool industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, understanding customer requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting site visits, and providing technical solutions for swimming pool projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of swimming pool systems, equipment, materials, installation requirements, and related MEP works, combined with excellent sales and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the swimming pool and construction sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and project owners.
• Visit project sites to assess requirements, take measurements, and understand technical conditions.
• Review swimming pool drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Recommend suitable swimming pool equipment, systems, and materials according to project specifications and budget.
• Provide technical presentations and explain proposed solutions to customers and consultants.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Procurement, Estimation, and Project teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project execution.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare and submit technical submittals, product data sheets, and material specifications when required.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new swimming pool technologies.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Follow up with customers from initial inquiry through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, and project handover.
• Attend client meetings, technical meetings, and site meetings as required.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's overall revenue growth.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues professionally.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical information, prices, availability, and delivery schedules.

Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have good knowledge of:

• Swimming pool design and construction requirements.
• Swimming pool filtration and circulation systems.
• Pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and control systems.
• Swimming pool water treatment and chemical dosing systems.
• Skimmers, main drains, return inlets, and pool fittings.
• PVC/UPVC piping and hydraulic systems.
• Pool lighting and electrical requirements.
• Overflow and skimmer pool systems.
• Water features, fountains, waterfalls, and related systems.
• Swimming pool accessories and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and BOQs.
• Basic hydraulic and MEP calculations.
• Swimming pool installation methods and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales engineering experience in the swimming pool industry.
• Proven experience in selling swimming pool equipment, systems, materials, or related construction solutions.
• Strong technical understanding of swimming pool systems.
• Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, developers, and end customers.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
