Job Description

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and expanding the sales pipeline for cast and forged products. The role focuses on market penetration, lead generation, customer engagement, and opportunity development. Driving order intake while ensuring full alignment with internal Commercial Operations & Company vision & mission

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs & end users, and distributors in Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, and Industrial sectors.
  • Act as the primary customer-facing representative for assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand customer needs, project pipelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Promote company positioning as a local forging & casting manufacturer and a long-term strategic partner.

Opportunity Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales leads and business opportunities for forged and cast components.
  • Actively pursue new customers, projects.
  • Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline aligned with company growth strategy.
  • Support vendor registration, prequalification, and onboarding processes with customers.

Market Intelligence & Account Planning

  • Collect and report market intelligence including:
  • Upcoming projects
  • Customer sourcing plans
  • Competitor activity
  • Support development of account plans and sales strategies for key customers.
  • Gather customer annual demand forecasts and project outlooks.

Internal Coordination (Non-Technical)

  • Transfer qualified leads and opportunities to Commercial Operations for further evaluation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely handover of customer information, scope definition, and commercial context.
  • Maintain alignment with internal sales systems (Sales Force tools).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably within forging, casting, heavy manufacturing, or industrial components.
  • Strong exposure to customer-facing roles in Oil & Gas, Power, or Industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and opportunity development.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Business development mindset with a hunter mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into qualified opportunities.
  • Strong follow-up and opportunity tracking discipline.
  • CRM / Sales Force system proficiency.
