We are looking for a commercially driven Sales & Events Manager to generate new business, convert inbound enquiries, and deliver exceptional event experiences across Paris Society Group venues. This role combines proactive sales, relationship management, business development, and event planning, with a strong focus on revenue generation and exceeding commercial targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development Responsibilities
- Deliver annual revenue targets for pre-booked sales
- Manage high volumes of weekly inbound leads, achieving a minimum of 25% conversion.
- Monitor pipeline for future and ensure business development efforts are supporting pipeline and lead volume growth.
- A confident networker, developing an entertaining calendar across the sales year to meet new guests, entertain lapsed and retain existing.
- Maintain and update all sales assets, menus, products as required by either the business, the marketplace or the demand.
- Work with key stakeholders in operations, marketing and finance to ensure product is optimized for selling and delivering maximum revenue to the business.
- Identify seasonal peaks and troughs and develop sales strategies to exploit and mitigate them, ensuring comfortability of targets being achieved throughout the year.
- Ensure online partner websites are regularly updated and managed including photos, descriptions, and promotions
- Cooperate with other departments to create an exceptional customer experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Be confident in negotiations with guests to secure the highest value available for all events, whilst keeping conversion as priority.
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to keep new and existing guests visiting the venue, thus proposing Rikas for events and delivering more leads.
- Be creative, resourceful and dynamic in developing client specific initiative to drives business, such as local business or DMC groups.
- Engage with guests in person, on phone and Whatsapp, and finally by email, with focus being on personal relationship development as opposed to admin functionality.
- Deliver weekly sales reports to the Director of Sales and the Sales team, comprising of fixed KPI's, challenges, opportunities and activities.
- Offer visibility to your colleagues on efforts taken and successes, to share best practice.
Event Management:
- Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline with prospective clients, to include quotation, timely communication by email and phone, sales meetings and negotiation.
- Manage all aspects of client post-sale, pre-event administration, to include menu selection, tasting meetings, event schedule, table layout and providing general advice
- Prepare detailed function sheets on Tripleseat for the guest and operators needs, to include menu selection, tasting timetable, dietary needs, guest numbers, facilities available/venue constraints and payments.
- Communicating with appropriate members of staff over additional goods and services purchased by clients
- Communicating with external suppliers of additional goods and services purchased by clients
- Agree the final invoice with the client and arrange for payment prior to the event.
- Ensure before, during and after event, function site complies with Health and Safety requirements and staff follow Health and Safety guidelines.
- Manage Event – communicate responsibilities to/liaise with front-of-house, bar and/or chefs where relevant.
- To ensure excellent management of all pre and post event communications
Requirements
- Confident delivering weekly/monthly/annual KPI's as set by management
- Minimum of 3 year experience in luxury hospitality sales and events management
- Comfortable working within a dynamic team of sales professionals, bringing energy and integrity to the role
- Natural lead generator, that thrives in cold-calling, market outreach and building a powerful pipeline
- Results-driven negotiator with a proven ability to close business and consistently exceed sales targets
- Previous experience in hospitality and event sales is essential. Experience within the Dubai market, with established relationships across corporates, event agencies and DMCs, is highly desirable. However, we also welcome candidates relocating to Dubai who bring a proven track record in hospitality and event sales from international markets.
- Natural communicator, able to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders and guests, to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Eager to learn new sales strategies, share existing, and join Dubai's fastest growing Sales team
- Flexiblility to adapt to business demands and crisis management
- Experience using CRM or event management systems such as Tripleseat, SevenRooms or similar platforms is preferred.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English and numeracy
