Job Purpose:
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive individual and group bookings to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable travel packages, itineraries, and related services.
- Plan and coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport, and activities.
- Provide clients with accurate travel information, documentation, and destination materials.
- Actively generate new business through cold calling, networking, and lead follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients to encourage repeat business.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and promotional materials to support sales conversions.
- Collect deposits, manage balances, and ensure booking documentation accuracy.
- Handle changes, complaints, and unexpected issues professionally, including refund eligibility when required.
- Maintain accurate and updated client records within CRM and booking systems.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum3 years of experience in Travel , Hotel & Tourism sales.
- Strong track record inrevenue generation and business growth.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
- Solid knowledge of travel destinations, visa requirements, accommodations, and travel regulations.
- Ability to manage complex itineraries with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills to manage last-minute changes and travel disruptions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Cultural awareness and ability to work with international clients.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems, CRM tools, and MS Office.
