The candidate must maintain relationships with current and potential clients and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Know all the products being sold and the related costs
- Identify and qualify new potential customers which includes cold calling and development of leads through referral channels
- Confer with client to determine advertising requirements and budgetary limitations, utilizing knowledge of product or service to be advertised, media capabilities, and audience characteristics
- Plan, coordinate, and direct advertising campaign for direct clients or advertising agencies
- Submit proposals and estimated budget to client for approval, close sales opportunities quickly and efficiently, and complete necessary paperwork and implementation steps to set projects in motion successfully
- Respond to customer needs and ensure that no pending issues are unresolved to keep clients satisfaction & confidence high
- Monitor competitors activities and market trends on regular basis
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with the relevant internal teams to drive sales, grow market share, and resolve key client issues
- Maintain all sales resources and databases such that they are kept up to date and accurate
- Prepare sales reports as required by the superior
- Maintain client confidence and protect advertising operations by keeping information confidential
- Assist on tasks and other projects as assigned by the superior
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in related field
- 2 - 5 years of account/project management experience preferably in media / advertising or event
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
- Able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Computer skills including MSOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Should be a holder of a driving license for private/light vehicles for 2 years or more
