What You'll Be Doing
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, including retailers, wholesalers, food service businesses, and distributors.
- Sales & Negotiation: Identify new business opportunities, negotiate pricing, payment and delivery terms, and close sales to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of fresh fruits, including product varieties, quality grades, seasonality, and market pricing, to provide professional recommendations to customers.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitors activities to identify growth opportunities and support sales strategies.
- Order Management & Coordination: Process customer orders accurately and coordinate closely with the warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Reporting & Administration: Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, sales forecasts, and maintain accurate customer records in a timely manner.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager from time to time.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Diploma or above in any field.
- Experience: Prior sales experience is preferred, especially in fresh produce, FMCG, food service, or wholesale distribution.
- Mobility: Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own vehicle (preferred). Must be willing to travel extensively for customer visits and business development.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure to achieve sales targets.
