On behalf of a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain sector, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager.
This is a confidential search for a true hunter who will be accountable for securing revenue, increasing market share, and driving aggressive business development across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate is a charismatic professional with at least 5 years of industry experience, capable of building high-value strategic relationships and delivering creative solutions to complex customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth: Secure and develop revenue from both existing customer accounts and new business leads.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales plans and campaigns to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key contacts to understand value-creation opportunities.
- Proposal Management: Assist with RFP responses, prepare high-impact presentations, and monitor sales leads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and management teams to develop workable solutions for client needs and facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare annual/monthly budgets and reports, ensuring all targeted financial goals are achieved.
- Market Penetration: Facilitate regular meetings with clients to evaluate performance and stay ahead of future logistics challenges.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead Response Time (Contact within 1 hour).
- High Rate of Contact/Follow-up (Outbound volume).
- Optimizing Opportunity-to-Win ratios.
- Effective usage of marketing collateral and social media channels for lead generation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (equivalent work experience also considered).
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience within the logistics/transportation industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong business acumen and understanding of financial planning.Excellent negotiation, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and analytical abilities.
- Attributes: Charismatic, confident personality with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing policies.
- Travel: Ability to travel both locally and abroad as required.
