Sales Manager (Home Appliances)

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key retail and distribution partnerships, and ensuring our range of home appliances (from premium kitchen tech to laundry solutions) becomes a household staple.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the consumer electronics or home appliance lifecycle and a proven track record of hitting aggressive sales targets.

Job Description

As the Sales Manager, you will oversee the strategic direction of our sales department. Your primary focus will be on building sustainable growth through both traditional retail channels and emerging e-marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual sales plans and localized strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor a team of account managers and sales representatives to exceed KPIs.
  • Channel Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with big-box retailers, independent dealers, and distributors.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities for product placement.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts; manage the departmental budget and promotional spend.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to align promotional campaigns and with Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Job Requirements

Professional Experience:

  • 20+ years of experience in sales management, specifically within the Home Appliance, Consumer Electronics, or FMCG industries.
  • Familiar with distribution work flow

Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership: Ability to motivate a remote or field-based team and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Excel to analyze sales data and trends.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
  • Product Knowledge: A strong interest in Smart Home technology and the technical specifications of modern appliances.
