Sales Manager, Payments Solutions

The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding the company's payments footprint. This role is responsible for selling a full payments technology stack to middle-market and large enterprise organizations.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Technology and Business to position capabilities, products, services, and solutions effectively with prospects. We are looking for an independent, high-achieving individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and has the drive to outperform sales targets.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience within Payments or B2B technology
  • Proven track record of high performance and self-generated pipeline
  • Strong motivation for growth and development with excellent communication skills
  • Established network of prospects and partners within the payments ecosystem
  • Strong interest in fintech and payments technology
  • Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate complex deal structures

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Act as a consultative payments strategist, advising companies on optimal payment structures across a broad portfolio of solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and close high potential prospects and partners to build a strong pipeline across multiple verticals
  • Develop prospect engagement strategies and partner with marketing, business development, product, and other teams to generate pipeline through both cold and warm channels
  • Present next generation payment solutions and value added services to senior stakeholders
  • Prepare high quality presentations and proposals for C suite executives and execute effective negotiation strategies
  • Become a subject matter expert on the payments technology stack, helping merchants understand how solutions address their pain points and responding to detailed product queries
  • Lead the full sales cycle, drive urgency through clear mutual action plans, and serve as the main point of contact for both merchants and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a structured portfolio of accounts and nurture key relationships through deep industry and client insight
  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers to share best practices, market insights, and industry trends
  • Provide feedback on local market dynamics including competitor activity, customer needs, and product or marketing opportunities
