Position Overview
Danube Building Materials is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager - Ceramic Tiles & Sanitaryware to lead sales growth, business development, and market expansion across the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Drive growth across project sales, wholesale, retail, and distribution channels.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and infrastructure projects.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and ensure effective opportunity management.
- Expand market presence across the UAE and GCC region.
- Develop relationships with developers, consultants, architects, interior designers, contractors, and project management companies.
- Secure product approvals and specifications for ceramic tiles and sanitaryware products in major projects.
- Monitor project pipelines from design stage through execution and completion.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure profitable business growth.
- Manage key accounts and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and channel partners.
- Identify opportunities to expand dealer networks and market coverage.
- Drive sales performance across retail showrooms and distribution channels.
- Implement sales promotions, product launches, and market development initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments.
- Identify new product opportunities and recommend portfolio enhancements.
- Collaborate with procurement and product teams on sourcing strategies and inventory planning.
- Ensure effective positioning of premium and value product ranges.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Establish KPIs, sales targets, and performance measurement systems.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, and gross margins.
- Ensure timely collections and effective receivables management.
- Provide regular business reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent management qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Ceramic Tiles, Sanitaryware, Building Materials, or related industries.
- Proven experience in project sales and channel sales.
- Proven experience in leading multi-channel sales operations and market expansion initiatives.
