Job Description

Sales Manager – Saudi Arabia (FMCG Distributor Network)

The Sales Manager – Saudi Arabia will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor partnerships, and expanding the company's FMCG presence across the Kingdom. The role requires strong expertise in distributor management, modern trade, traditional trade, and wholesale channels, along with a deep understanding of the Saudi FMCG market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Expand product distribution across all key channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.

Distributor Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with national and regional distributors.
  • Evaluate distributor performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Develop joint business plans with distributors to achieve growth targets.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, promotional, and brand guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.

Key Account & Channel Development

  • Develop business with Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, and Convenience channels.
  • Support negotiations with major retail chains and key accounts.
  • Improve product visibility, shelf presence, and in-store execution.
  • Drive distribution expansion and numeric distribution targets.

Trade Marketing Execution

  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure successful execution of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor ROI of promotions and recommend improvements.
  • Support product launches and category expansion initiatives.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and annual business plans.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Submit weekly and monthly business reports.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and CRM records.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
  • Support demand planning and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer and distributor issues.

Experience

  • 5 - 7 years of FMCG sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years managing FMCG distributors in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven success in delivering sales growth and market expansion.
  • Experience working with leading retail and wholesale channels in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong understanding of GCC FMCG market dynamics.
  • Existing distributor and key account network is highly desirable.
